How much does product photography cost in Australia? Published Australian studio prices start at about A$18 to A$40 per image on a plain background, with minimum spends of A$350 to A$500 a shoot, mostly quoted before GST. Styled images cost more, and a 360° spin starts at about A$129 a product. These are the studios’ own published prices, checked in October 2026. -
Is AI product photography good enough to sell with? Yes, for most packaged products, if it starts from photos of the real product and every image is checked against that product before it’s published. AI still gets fine label text, glass, exact colour and stitching wrong, so those are the four things to check. -
What is a 360° product spin? A 360° product spin is a short loop that turns your product all the way round on the product page, so shoppers can see every side. Studios shoot it frame by frame on a turntable, from about A$129 a product in Australia; it can also be made from a 3D model built from photos. -
How many product photos does a Shopify product page need? Four is typical: a study of 1,000 Shopify stores found the median store shows 4 photos per product. Shopify recommends 2048 by 2048 px for square product images, with files under 20 MB.
