What is a 360° product spin?
The short answer
A 360° product spin is a short loop that turns your product all the way round on the product page, so shoppers can see every side. Studios shoot it frame by frame on a turntable, from about A$129 a product in Australia; it can also be made from a 3D model built from photos.

How a spin is made
On a turntable. The product sits on a turntable in a studio and is photographed at regular steps, usually 24 frames or more for a full turn. The frames are joined into a loop. See 360 Degrees, a Melbourne studio, prices a 24-frame spin from A$129 a product, ex GST, with the final price depending on size and complexity (checked October 2026).
From a 3D model. A 3D model of the product is built and turned in software. The turn can have as many frames as you like, and any angle can be saved as a still. The product never has to be posted.
Which products it suits
- Shoes and bags, where the heel, sole and back matter.
- Bottles and jars with a back label, where ingredients and directions live.
- Vases and sculptural pieces, whose shape changes as they turn.
It adds less for flat products, like prints, plates or cards, where a front and a side image say it all.
What to ask for
- A looping MP4 for the product page, and the still frames, so any angle can become an image.
- A frame count that turns smoothly at the size it will be shown.
- The same light and background as your other product images, so the spin doesn’t look like it came from somewhere else.
